Home Office Tour

After moving out of my girly apartment and moving in with my boyfriend two years ago, I decided I still needed a space in my new apartment that was pink and girly and just for me. This is why I have transformed one of the bedrooms of our two bedroom apartment into the home office of my dreams. This room includes my huge L-shaped desk, my makeup vanity, a full length mirror, a dresser that holds my 55 inch TV, and a full lounge area with a coffee table and a sofa with a pull out bed for guests. The Desk

My desk is truly where I spend most of my time. Since I work from home, I love having such a large desk. This desk also has a lot of storage that helps me stay organized and keep the desktop clean while still having everything else I may need in easy reach. I also love having a desk that faces outwards so I’m not staring at the wall all day and can turn on the TV if I want to!

The Dresser

My desk directly faces my dresser and TV so it was really important for me to style this area since it is what I face all day everyday. This TV was my main one from my old apartment and I love having it in front of my desk so I’m able to turn it on while I work. As this room also doubles as our guest room, I also wanted a TV in this room for guests to watch while they stay with us. This dresser is an Amazon purchase I also brought over from the old apartment. I replaced the original knobs with these square gold ones and it elevated the piece so much more. The last larger piece of furniture in this section is the standing lamp on the left. I originally bought it at Target for my college apartment and it has been with me ever since! I now use it as a part of my Taylor Swift corner.

Lounge Area

This is my favorite part of my office! Having this lounge area makes the room so much more comfy & cozy. The sofa is really comfortable and I love that it pulls out into a bed so we can have guests stay with us without sacrificing a room for a full bed. The coffee table was also brought over from my last apartment. We actually used it for our main coffee table at our current place for a while but once we got a new one, it found its new spot in my office and it just ties everything together. The small rug adds the perfect little pop of color and contributes to the pink.

The Vanity

The vanity area is a newer addition to the room. I used to have a clothing rack in this spot but I found it hard to have to continuously keep it looking cute and figured I’d have more use with a vanity. As my makeup collection has grown quite a bit in the last year, I quickly outgrew the two drawers on the vanity itself and added the white set of drawers for more space. This has been such a great addition to bring the whole room together!
